Dr. Patel completed his Rheumatology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center - Albert Einstein College of Medicine, NYC in 2023 and his Internal Medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital, NYC in 2021. Having trained in New York City, Dr. Patel has gained expertise in managing complex medical pathologies among individuals with varied races, ethnicity, and socioeconomic backgrounds. He provides a tailored plan for each patient, focusing on their needs and treating them as a whole. It is vital to him that his patients understand their disease well and he takes time and effort to explain and educate them. Dr. Patel is interested in Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Gout, Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, and Vasculitis. He has also contributed to medical literature through his research work in Rheumatoid Arthritis and Scleroderma. Dr. Patel is an avid proponent of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and incorporates its diagnostic and procedural utility in his practice. Dr. Patel has been appreciated for his academic merit and excellent patient care with the “Outstanding Graduate” award in medical school and the “Resident of the Year” award during his residency training. Dr. Patel prioritizes being up to date on the latest medical literature and guidelines to provide the best quality care to his patients.
In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys going to movies, choreographing Western contemporary and Bollywood dance forms, and assisting his wife in the kitchen to spin some delicious dishes. He also loves to travel and spend quality time with his friends and family.
